Turkish Coffee Culture and Research Association

TURKISH COFFEE CULTURE AND RESEARCH ASSOCIATION was established by a group of volunteers who believe in the cultural value of our traditional and moral inheritance of Turkish coffee and who want to contribute awareness of our culture both nationally and internationally and officially began its activities in 2008.

Our mission, as defined in our association’s regulation, could be summarized as “To make Turkish coffee culture as a living value. To make attempts solve sector’s problems. To gain international reference and accreditation institute features and to establish coordination between organizations and institutes which produce and sell Turkish coffee. To work for increasing the number of Turkish coffee consumers. To support the attempts that will contribute to our coffee value which is already getting lost and to try to create public support in this matter. Firstly, making Turkish coffee known nationally and then making it known internationally. To encourage the people and institutes about protecting and developing the values of Turkish coffee which are our traditional and moral inheritance and contributing information flow. To develop literature and scientific standards and to leave them as a value for next generations.”

We recently continue to work on realizing our projects namely our association’s web site, physical and virtual museum project, accreditation of Turkish coffee, symposium, concert and book. We believe that Turkish coffee as a part of Turkish culture will be a world brand with the contribution and works of our members in the recent future.
